We’re here with you helping with time, service and great food to fuel those extra efforts. Because of your generous support of rural communities we serve, more than $80 thousand dollars and counting has been donated for skills training, access to technology, infrastructure like school renovation projects, water and sanitation to improve the quality of life. It’s the right thing to do, and we really believe in these missions below.
The aim of this Barbecue is to bring communities together, fostering a sense of unity and providing opportunities for members and volunteers to make a difference.
We incorporate barbecue basics into our programs, teaching members, donors, and sister associations how to cook and prepare food in a group setting.
We are raising awareness about important social issues, such as violence against women and children, advocating for policies that support rural development, including funding for rural programs and addressing systemic inequalities.
It takes nothing to join the crowd, it takes everything to stand alone. So be a fountain not a drain.
